Can Hubi post to private streams or only public ones?

Hubi can reach the streams the connected account is subscribed to, which can include private ones it already has access to. It cannot see streams that user isn't a member of.

Will Hubi message people without me approving it first?

By default Hubi drafts a message and shows it to you before posting to a stream or sending a direct message, so nothing goes out to the team unexpectedly. You can set standing rules for routine posts you want sent automatically.

Can Hubi search the full history of a stream?

Hubi searches messages the connected account can read, so it can pull older threads from streams that user is in. How far back it reaches depends on your server's retention settings.

Does Hubi work with a self-hosted Zulip server?

Yes. Because you provide your own server URL, email, and API key, Hubi works with both Zulip Cloud and self-hosted installations the same way.

Can Hubi connect Zulip to my other tools?

Yes. You can chain Zulip with the rest of your stack - for example, post a deploy notice to a stream when a CI run finishes, or forward a flagged support ticket into the right topic, in one instruction.
