How does Hubi authenticate to my Plausible account?

Hubi uses a Plausible API key you generate in your account settings, scoped to the sites you authorize. It only reads the sites that key can reach.

Does this work with self-hosted Plausible or only the cloud version?

Hubi targets Plausible's Stats API. The hosted Plausible Cloud works directly; a self-hosted instance can work too where it exposes the same API and your key reaches it, depending on your setup.

Can Hubi change my site settings or add goals?

Hubi's focus is reading stats and reporting them. Its access reflects what your API key allows, and querying analytics is read-only by nature - it doesn't alter your tracked data.

How fresh are the numbers Hubi reports?

Plausible processes stats close to real time, so figures Hubi pulls reflect recent activity. Very recent visits may take a short moment to appear depending on processing.

Can I combine Plausible data with my other tools?

Yes. Hubi can pull a traffic breakdown and write it into a spreadsheet, post it to Slack, or compare it against numbers from another connected analytics source in one instruction.
