Can Hubi change my dashboards or delete data?

Hubi reads dashboards, searches, and aggregations freely. For any change that edits saved objects or alerting rules, it proposes the action first and waits for approval rather than altering your setup silently.

Does this work with self-hosted Elasticsearch as well as Elastic Cloud?

It works wherever Hubi can reach your Kibana endpoint with valid credentials. Both self-managed and cloud deployments are accessible as long as the API is reachable and the key has the needed privileges.

Will a broad search overload my cluster?

Large time ranges and heavy aggregations use the same cluster resources as any Kibana query. Hubi runs the query you ask for and you can narrow the range or fields if a search is expensive.

What does Hubi actually have access to?

Only what the credentials' role allows - typically the indices, spaces, and saved objects assigned to that user. It does not reach cluster settings or data outside those privileges.

Can Hubi chain Kibana with my other tools?

Yes. You can combine a Kibana search with anything else connected, such as running a query and posting the result to Slack or opening a ticket from it, in one instruction.
