Will Hubi order or reissue a certificate on its own?

No. Requesting or reissuing a certificate is a real, billable action, so Hubi prepares the order and shows you the details for approval before submitting. Status and expiry lookups run read-only.

Can Hubi actually issue a cert, or just start the request?

Hubi can submit the order through DigiCert's API, but issuance still depends on DigiCert's validation steps for the certificate type. For certs that require domain or organization validation, that process completes on DigiCert's side.

Does Hubi see private keys?

Hubi works with order and certificate metadata - status, expiry, domains, and the issued certificate. Private key handling stays within your own systems and DigiCert's processes, not something Hubi manages.

Can Hubi warn me before a certificate expires?

Yes. You can ask Hubi to check expiry dates and, with a standing instruction, have it flag upcoming renewals and post a reminder to a channel so nothing lapses unnoticed.
