Will Hubi switch a device output without asking?

Writing to a pin or output changes the physical state of your hardware, so by default Hubi confirms the action before sending it. Reading sensor values runs on its own.

Does my device need to be online?

Yes. Hubi acts through the Bolt Cloud, so the device has to be connected and reachable for readings and commands to go through. Hubi can check status first if you ask.

Can Hubi read and control several devices?

Where your account has more than one device, Hubi can read from and command the ones linked to your Bolt Cloud account, scoped to what your API key can reach.

Can Hubi watch a sensor and alert me?

You can have Hubi read a sensor on request and, if you have connected a chat tool, post an alert when a value crosses a level you describe, rather than polling continuously on its own.

Can Hubi log readings somewhere I can review later?

Yes. If you have linked a spreadsheet, Hubi can take a reading and append it so you build up a history of values over time without manual entry.
